Fundraising and Event Coordinator

This part time salaried position is responsible for overseeing all events, campaigns and activities related to fundraising, alumni, and awareness both locally and in the greater community.  Events range from and can include and are not limited to:  Annual Giving Campaign, Children’s Festival, Annual Auction Benefit, Community Give Back events.

Duties include managing logistics, budgets, timelines and volunteers to ensure that all activities are a success both financially and in community building. Grades Teacher Support Person

This is a part time hourly position. Approximate hours are 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Duties include assisting in a first or second grade classroom throughout the school day along with recess and lunch duties with other classes. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Waldorf school. Early Childhood Assistant

This is a part time hourly position. Hours may be Wed-Fri from 8a-12:15p or M-F from 8a-12:15p or to 3:30p. Hours are dependent on enrollment. Duties include assisting the lead teacher in a prekindergarten and kindergarten Waldorf early childhood classroom. The assistant must be comfortable working with children outdoors in all weather and taking instructions from the lead teacher. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Waldorf early childhood setting. Spring Garden Waldorf School was founded in 1981 and is an accredited member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. SGWS serves students from Pre-K through Grade 8. Our expanding curriculum includes Spanish, Choral, Orchestra, Woodwork, Handwork, Physical Education, Gardening and Extra Lesson.
