We are seeking:

Aftercare Coordinator: Duties include providing after school care to students from Pre-K through Grade 8. Applicants should have direct experience working with children and an interest in Waldorf education. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 3:00-6:00 pm with the possibility of combining with other opportunities.

Early Childhood Assistant: Duties include assisting the lead teacher, setting up the classroom, preparing snacks, supervision of students, and supporting the rhythm of the classroom. Applicants should have direct experience working with children and an interest in Waldorf education. Several positions available with afternoon and full day opportunities.

Extended Care Lead Teacher: Duties include leading an afternoon mixed-age preschool-kindergarten class on Monday through Friday. The teacher will also be in charge of directing  and working cooperatively with the morning EC faculty to create a cohesive experience for the children throughout the day. Bachelor’s Degree and experience working with young children is required. Work hours: Monday through Friday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm with the possibility of combining with other opportunities.

Pedagogical Director:

We are now accepting applications for our Pedagogical Director position at Spring Garden Waldorf School. Join our team of school leaders in ensuring an exemplary Waldorf student experience, supporting our faculty, and cultivating a culture of collaboration and communication at our school. This is a full time, on-site position.

The Pedagogical Director will work closely with the Director of Administration, the College of Teachers, and the Board of Trustees to create a shared vision of the future of the school. Their responsibilities include pedagogical development; support of faculty; administrative duties in service of colleague collaboration, policy, and procedure; program supervision; parental liaison support work and more.

Spring Garden Waldorf School was founded in 1981 and is an accredited member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. SGWS serves students from Pre-K through Grade 8.
