Director of Admissions and Marketing

The Director of Admissions and Marketing is responsible for creating and implementing a marketing plan, retention strategies, and admissions strategies to increase enrollment of qualified students. Duties include but are not limited to promoting the school and Waldorf Education through school tours, participation in local events both on and off campus, community partnerships, tracking of enrollment data, participate in creation of policies related to enrollment, creation of promotional materials, Chair of the Marketing Committee, and management and content of school website. This is a full-time salaried year-round position.

Parent Child Teacher

Duties include guiding parents and their young children ages 18 months- 3 years in an outdoor class that follows the gentle rhythm of circle time, creative play, snack and story time.  Classes are held once a week for two hours from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. The teacher will provide education and resources for parents.  Bachelor’s Degree, experience working with young children, and experience with Waldorf education is required. Grades Teacher

Spring Garden Waldorf School is seeking a Grades Class teacher to join our faculty beginning in the 2022-2023 school year.

We value excellent teaching and classroom management skills, as well as a deep understanding of child development. We also seek a colleague committed to building strong collegial and parent relationships, and one who is committed to self-development. The ideal candidate will have a Waldorf Teacher Training certificate and experience as a lead classroom teacher, preferably in a Waldorf school. Qualified candidates must also have a bachelor’s degree.

Spanish Teacher

Spring Garden Waldorf School is seeking a full-time Spanish teacher for the 2022-23 school year to teach grades 1-8. Candidates will demonstrate fluency in Spanish and have experience teaching elementary school age children. We value excellent teaching and classroom management skills and a deep understanding of child development. We also seek a colleague committed to building strong collegial and parent relationships and a serious interest in developing themselves as a Waldorf language teacher.
 
Bachelor’s Degree required; Waldorf Training and experience preferred.
