Early Childhood Aftercare Coordinator

This is a part time hourly position Th/Fri 3:15p-6p. Duties caring for students of prekindergarten and kindergarten age following the Waldorf early childhood approach. The candidate must be comfortable working with children outdoors in all weather and taking instructions. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Waldorf early childhood setting. Basketball Head Coach

The head coach oversees and manages a competitive, seasonal sport program for Spring Garden Waldorf School, currently affiliated with Independent School League. The head coach manages the team, monitors each player’s performance, conditions the team’s skills by conducting training sessions, and encourages the athletes to reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or High school diploma plus 3 years coaching required. Previous experiences as an athletic coach for middle-school aged students or as an athlete working with students is essential. First aid and CPR certification must be up-to-date and maintained.

Assistant Coaches

We are hiring assistant coaches for Cross Country and Volleyball. The assistant coach supports the head coach in the management of a competitive, seasonal sport program for Spring Garden Waldorf School. The assistant coach supports the implementation of practice plans organized by the head coach.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and previous experience as an athlete and working with students; previous experience as an athletic coach for middle-school age students is preferred. The assistant coach attends all practices and competitions throughout the sport season, performs administrative duties such as maintaining records of team or individual statistics from practices or competitions. First aid and CPR certification must be up-to-date and maintained.

Spring Garden Waldorf School was founded in 1981 and is an accredited member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. SGWS serves students from Pre-K through Grade 8. Our expanding curriculum includes Spanish, Choral, Orchestra, Woodwork, Handwork, Physical Education, Gardening and Extra Lesson.
