Extended Care Lead Teacher

This is a part time hourly position. Approximate hours are 11:30-4p Monday-Friday. Duties include leading prekindergarten and kindergarten students through the rhythm of the afternoon in our Waldorf early childhood classroom. The teacher must be comfortable working with children outdoors in all weather.

The ideal candidate will have Waldorf Early Childhood Teacher Training and/or experience working in a Waldorf early childhood setting. Interested candidates please email resume, cover letter and three letters of recommendation to Extended Care Lead Teacher Hiring Committee at learn@sgws.org.

Early Childhood Assistant

Duties include assisting the lead teacher, setting up the classroom, preparing snacks, supervision of students, and supporting the rhythm of the classroom. This position may be combined with an aftercare coordinator position for additional work hours. Applicants should have direct experience working with children and an interest in Waldorf education. Several positions available with afternoon and full day opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Waldorf school. Early Childhood After Care

Duties include providing after school care to preschool and kindergarten students. Applicants should have direct experience working with children and an interest in Waldorf education. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 3:00-6:00 pm with the possibility of combining with other opportunities. Grades After Care

Spring Garden Waldorf School was founded in 1981 and is an accredited member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. SGWS serves students from Pre-K through Grade 8. Our expanding curriculum includes Spanish, Choral, Orchestra, Woodwork, Handwork, Physical Education, Gardening and Extra Lesson.
