In Early Childhood classes, the day’s activities unfold in an unhurried way with each day following the same rhythm, giving the child a sense of security and consistency. The programs are based on the understanding that young children learn primarily through imitation and play. Teachers focus on fostering the imagination and creativity through storytelling, music, outdoor play and artistic activities. Early academic foundations are formed through these activities.

The focus of school in the early years of elementary is learning to learn and loving to learn. Testing, grading and homework are minimized. Our Elementary school curriculum inspires the artistic, creative, and imaginative life of the child while providing a strong base for academics.  We focus on engaging the whole child – head heart and hands – to add value and relevance to lessons, and this helps instill a deep interest in learning.

Exceptional curriculum provides our older students with a well-rounded, classical education and a strong foundation for creative, conceptual and abstract thinking. Experiential learning is still key in these years as we continue to offer relevant, hands on curriculum in all subjects. We set high standards for ourselves and for our students, who learn to think critically, create, and work hard.
