Here are some ongoing volunteer opportunities here at Spring Garden.
SGWS Work Days
Mark your calendars for upcoming Work Days during the 2024-25 school year! Work days are days where our parents dedicate 3 of their volunteer hours specifically to our facilities and/or grounds. We ask for these days because of the large amount of upkeep our 16 acres and our 60+ year old building require. This is a great opportunity to connect with your fellow SGWS community members and earn your family service hours. Anyone needing special accommodations (seated work, indoor work, chemical free work, etc.) should contact the office at learn@sgws.org so that we can ensure your safe and healthy work-day-hour environment. Students 5th grade and up may attend the work days with a parent or guardian!

Adopt a Flower Bed
Need a way to fulfill your service hours that is flexible with your schedule?
Adopt one of the flower beds on our school grounds and keep it weeded. Volunteers would start now and work through November and again in the spring through June. This would easily be a way to meet your service hour and work day hour goal. We have beds of all sizes and can find one that fits your availability and interest!
